There was a time when Wyoming lived on the West Side of the Mississippi River and worked on the east bank of the River. For a long time, he also worked hard at growing apples at a bucolic orchard over in Wisconsin. Then came the day when he and Cherokee drove away from Minnesota to deliver Wy and his guitar to the desert southwest of the United States where Wy took up a new life far away from the Mississippi and from the apples. Living in the desert now, Wy doesn’t get to cross the Mississippi multiple times each day or watch the eddies swirl off of the public dock as much as he used to. But he still plays a mean guitar and sings a beautiful tune.
