Curtice
Belvidere
Curtice Belvidere was born in Alberta, on
the arid steppes on the leeward side of the Canadian Rockies. Until
he turned 16, the only radio station within reach played polkas
and C & W between reports on hog and cattle prices. On clear
nights, WCCO could occasionally be pulled in. Seeing how he loved
this sophisticated urban music, his parents bought him a Frank Sinatra
record for his 14th birthday. He played it over and over and learned
to emulate the Sinatra sound, which explains why he has so much
trouble finding the proper pitch.
At 16, Curtice left home and began wandering the world, absorbing
musical influences far and wide - though apparently without taste
or discernment. Frustrated at his inability to find stylish clothes
that fit, he learned to sew his own and has made his living as a
tailor specializing in odd sizes for the past 20 years.
Mark is the tallest Eddie by quite a bit.
You can't miss him. He's tall.
